Let's Get Talking
With Yvonne Wilson
My thoughts:
How far have we come?
What have we learnt?
What should we do with traitors in the midst?
Why have we no unity?
How can we work together?
What message do the elders have for our young people to give them hope?
Your thoughts please

An examination of the Black Power movement in the late 1960s in the UK, surveying both the individuals and the cultural forces that defined the era.
At the heart of the documentary is a series of astonishing interviews with past activists, many of whom are speaking for the first time about what it was really like to be involved in the British Black Power movement, bringing to life one of the key cultural revolutions in the history of the nation.
I’m hoping every Black person watched this program. Really want to open a discussion on this.

Thank you, Yvonne, for this video and for starting this discussion. Unity and togetherness begin with inspired people centered leadership. Dr John Maxwell states, “Everything rises and falls on leadership.”
Leadership in every sector of the black community needs to be seen and heard. We need our leaders to rise and shine from the homes, churches, businesses, sports, and the community, etc.
If we continue to do what we have always done, we will continue to get what we have always got.
Absolutely Brother Errol, it is imperative we open debates, share ideas and experiences. Also we must be honest with our past and make no apologies for who we are as a people. No other community has suffered in the same way we have and its time we understood that UNITY is definitely the only answer.
It saddens me that as a people we have not recognised the one thing that defeats us time and again is our lack of unity.
